As our first ever post, we’re going to take a step back in time and review our April 2024 journey on Carnival Cruise Line’s Venezia cruise ship. This Vista-class ship, which was originally designed for Costa Cruises, was a far cry (visually) from other Carnival cruise ships. With that being said, the real question is, was it worth it? We’ll take a thorough look at our experience and let you be the judge.

All in all, the process for embarkation was relatively simple. The lines were about usual but I felt like Carnival did an excellent job of getting people through quickly. There was a bit of a wait, once we were past check in, which we utilized to take selfies, talk about how excited we were, and plan the upcoming days.
